Ghosts of the Shadow Market is a novella collection within the Shadowhunters world, following the lives of characters such as Simon Lewis, Emma Carstairs, and the Blackthorn family.
I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of stories. Each novella gave a deeper insight into the characters and their relationships, as well as adding to the overall plot of the Shadowhunters series. The writing was engaging and the character development was well done.
One of my favorite aspects of the book was the inclusion of LGBTQ+ relationships and representation. The Shadowhunters world has always had LGBTQ+ characters, but this collection really delves into their experiences and struggles in a way that feels genuine and important.
